A lover will never stop loving, only destructing into nothing..
struck by the bow of love looking for a cure, a high to chase them away from the next break at their pounding heart.
loving till there is no love to give not even for themselves, a truly draining process.
losing yourself in the process of loving.
what loves you, ultimately kills you.
weapons are bonds, love is deadly.
was my only sin, loving?
the sun moves on its own accord, it doesn't need the moon to survive only keeps it around till the end of time.
sometimes i wonder if i am perceived much like the moon, dimmed out by the suns light.
yet comfortable in the silence of the night, i may confront the fact..
A lover will never stop loving, only destructing into nothing..
Please give a detailed explanation about the meaning and main idea of this poem.
the main idea leans into the toxic nature behind love how it can either make or break you, how being just someone's partner can be ever so draining.
to be outshined, to be poisoned by something sweet enough to constantly come back looking for more.
Please explain your writing and thought process regarding this poem.
my writing approach is quite unique or so I've been told ill listen to a melody contrive a idea and form a line, then I lean into the emotions and comprise something short and meaningful.
I don't find myself often coming in with a idea of what I want to write or the emotions I want to project, it all happens off a whim in minuets.
Why did you choose to write this poem?
I often write out of passion, emotions i feel or a idea that came to mind in a minute I tend to try and explore the depths of my mind this being one of my more tame poems
Do you have any tips or anything to share with the youth writers who may be reading this?
