My love who is no longer mine, what will it take for you to come back
I could write you oceans of love letters that would move people's very hearts.
I could cry you a sea of tears and then build you a boat out of my love just so you can visualize the depth of it for you.
I could paint portraits of you and your body on a canvas out of memory.
Yet, still it would never capture the full essence and beauty of you.
I would do anything and everything to fix it all and repair it to what it once was, but since my oceans will never be enough for you.
My final request and all I ask of you is to hug me once more
And ignite my bones with the yearning of your love
and let life itself course through my veins and leave me be,
like an addict to heroin on a high I will never again experience.
In hopes that maybe just maybe then I can let you go
And drain the ocean of tears that flow till this day.
Please give a detailed explanation about the meaning and main idea of this poem.
This was me expressing the love I had for someone who no longer cared for me, and the desperation people may feel in this situation. it shows how deeply I loved them and how I wished they would still love me as much as I do them. Closer to the end of the poem I come to the realization that no matter what you do it will never be enough for someone who does not love you back. I hoped to be embraced one more in the house that then I would feel sometime of closure and close the dam of tears that keep on flowing.
Please explain your writing and thought process regarding this poem.
I wrote out of the pain I was experiencing in hopes to relieve it. Also this was kinda also inspired by a tik tok I saw. my thought process can't really be explained. I thought of them so I wrote about them and how. I felt.
Why did you choose to write this poem?
For expression, for release, and to release words that will never be said to them.

Write from the heart no matter what because there will always be truth in what you write, and it will impact those who read it if they can feel the emotions expresses while you wrote it.
